Problem with gold color door knob, handle and deadbolt.

You have been using a gold color door knob or handle or deadbolt for long time and notice that the color gradually grow faint and disappear.

So this is one of the problem of any door handle when you choose to use gold color for your door knob or handle or deadbolt.

what cause it to faded?

Well this because of you have been using it for long time, cause we only change or knob when it is unusable right. And also when you try to open your door you accidently scratch it it with your key.

Another reason is when you clean your door knob to hard the color can come off also and it will change color from gold to silver just like the picture above.

So for me, I more prefer to use copper color because the color wont easily come off even when I use it for a long time already. Also you wont notice if the copper color knob got scratches only if you look at the knob very carefully.
