This is the thinnest digital lock available. Very nice and premium look. And the backbody is fully metal too. Gateman A20 but also available in Yale, both out from the same oven.

But as with all Rim type locking, the strength depends very much on type of screws used, number of screws driven in and the proper installation method. With all these in place, it will be stronger than a descent deadbolt or common deadlock.
If you also thinking of getting one, make sure to check for the proper installation.
In our case, we can say it is strong. Steel screws, 7pcs properly driven and driven through the strike plate.
If simply installed, few kick or pry will be all it takes to break in.

Unknown but Simple and Effective Way to Greatly Increase Door Lock Strength
Thief or Robbers break into house via various method. But by far the most common is just simply kick in, or use pry bar to pry in.
Both method targets to break apart door frame, or the second door leaf for double leaf door.
If you go to hardware shop or ask any contractor, they will tell you this: “if they wana break in, they will break in anyway”
This is a very ignorant statement in our view. If that is true, why lock your door in the first place? Why grille? Why use good quality lock? Simply get the cheapest RM 9 lock for all of your door.
Those who utter the statement simply don’t have the knowledge and expertise to secure a door.
For a locksmith, given you have a good door, we do have ways to make sure a door certainly cannot and impossible to be kicked in, or to be pried in.
With a good door, we have the skill to make sure that the only way of breaking in is by ramming a car into the door at high speed, or use an axe to slowly chop apart the whole door.

This is an expansive (almost RM20,000) extra thick double door with grand architrave.
We want to make the smallest hole possible, to maintain the strength of the door to the max.
Those 4 small holes are not usual installation. The standard way is 1 big 65mm diameter round circular which is easier and faster to make.

Stainless Steel 304 Grade or Brass are the most desirable material for door handle. Cheaper material such as Zinc Alloy, usually priced at half of Stainless Steel, but the strength and surface is not durable.
Coupled with a good mortise and key cylinder, this combination will last longer than the door itself.
However, to sustain against brute force attack, it needs another auxiliary locks. A partner to fight against burglar. Locks are pretty much like human. Alone you will fall. Together you will stand.

We’ve never seen an extremely good key cylinder by any Malaysian Brand.
Until today.This key cylinder is impressive. Even for us as locksmith. If I wana buy a good padlock but can’t afford European made, this will be it. (Yes this is a key cylinder from a padlock, not door lock)
You can see the cylinder itself contains 2 anti-drill pin. But that’s not all. Even the “bible” part also filled wt 2 separate anti drill pin. You will not be able to drill through this cylinder.
And the build quality is great. It allows very little allowance for pin coding. No big gap, or extra margin for anyone to manipulate. We usually see this feature only from European made locks.
The only weakness? It has no anti-pick/ anti-bump pin inside. But no problem, we locksmith can add that in on our own. And make this an incredible padlock.

Probably you have never heard of this brand. But Hione has a very long experience of manufacturing locks in South Korea.
There are almost 10 brands of Digital Lock from South Korea in our collection. Among them are the infamous SAMSUNG. Trust us, that is not the best quality locks.
How do we know a quality of a digital lock?
- We have a full-time electronic engineer with us. He can check the circuit part.
- We disassemble every model that we sell. Sometimes the quality indication can be as simple as thickness, material (metal or plastic), weight, etc. But we also investigate the mechanism.
- Experience-we have sold certain brand for up to 10years. We know which model give us the most headache.

Thieves Love This Padlock – SO EASY TO BREAK.
More and more people (yes including thieves) knew the weakness of cheap padlocks. We come across such break in case more and more.
