    This Key Cylinder Makes Us W.O.W


    We’ve never seen an extremely good key cylinder by any Malaysian Brand. 
    Until today.

    This key cylinder is impressive. Even for us as locksmith. If I wana buy a good padlock but can’t afford European made, this will be it. (Yes this is a key cylinder from a padlock, not door lock)

    You can see the cylinder itself contains 2 anti-drill pin. But that’s not all. Even the “bible” part also filled wt 2 separate anti drill pin. You will not be able to drill through this cylinder.

    And the build quality is great. It allows very little allowance for pin coding. No big gap, or extra margin for anyone to manipulate. We usually see this feature only from European made locks.

    The only weakness? It has no anti-pick/ anti-bump pin inside. But no problem, we locksmith can add that in on our own. And make this an incredible padlock.

    Probably you have never heard of this brand. But Hione has a very long experience of manufacturing locks in South Korea. 

    There are almost 10 brands of Digital Lock from South Korea in our collection. Among them are the infamous SAMSUNG. Trust us, that is not the best quality locks.

    How do we know a quality of a digital lock? 

    1. We have a full-time electronic engineer with us. He can check the circuit part.
    2. We disassemble every model that we sell. Sometimes the quality indication can be as simple as thickness, material (metal or plastic), weight, etc. But we also investigate the mechanism.
    3. Experience-we have sold certain brand for up to 10years. We know which model give us the most headache.

    A lousy lock will lock you out and waste your time with all sort of trouble. A good lock, on the other hand, give you pride and security and convenience. Always choose only quality locks.

    More and more people (yes including thieves) knew the weakness of cheap padlocks. We come across such break in case more and more.

    Just like the case above. This type of padlock can be broken with just a flat head screwdriver. Time needed? Just 10 seconds. We tested it ourselves.

    We have plenty of variation of stealth deadbolt in our store. Yet this is the finest type. And hard to find one in Malaysia.

    98% of half deadbolt is using some plastic stuff inside (shown here the plate in the centre). You try to name it, Yale, Posse, St Guchi, Milano, etc, all is plastic parts inside. 

    Only this specific model is strong metal part inside.

    Now, come to think of it, people can afford such an expansive phone. Why then would you want the cheapest lock when come to protecting your family?

    So, the lesson is, don’t go for cheap. Go for quality and safety.

    This Samsung mortise is 2 years old. Owner complaint that it feels stuck a bit. 

    Turns out 1 latching gear become quite rough. Perhaps due to continuous friction with the adjacent gear. 

    1. Diassemble
    2. Smoothen out the gear surface
    3. Reassemble
    4. Test
    5. Works like new

    Sounds easy, but really pain in the eye to assemble back all those small parts.

    We changed other parts too depending on the problem. Sometimes just the motor, the sensor, etc. Any parts can be repaired, usually at one-third of the whole component price. 

    Now the question is, do you want save some bucks to repair, or you don’t mind the cost of the whole new component? The call is yours.

    Most lock installation happens at finished door with painting or wood stain. Paint chips might happen in the process. 

    We touch up using acetate, wood piece, putty, and lastly by painting. We keep a considerable amount of common paint color and wood stain. 

    We want our customer to be happy and satisfied. Some customer do not demand such job, but they surely will not be proud with the paint chips. 

    We try our best to do a perfect job for you. Not just simply install the lock only.
